Q4. How can I get after service from Ace Pen?
|
If there is a problem that has to be serviced under the warranty obligation, you can return products to us and we can make necessary corrections or repairs or send you a new one. Also we will offer some damageable spare parts for free. However, the factory must issue a RGA (return goods authorization) number in order for pens or pen parts to be returned. No return products will be accepted go beyond the scope.

Q5. How do you make a quotation?
|
Generally speaking, the costs of the pen we quoted are materials cost and machining costs. What follows is that the products’ structure and design, materials used, lead time, Logo colors, Packaging requirements and surface treatment or decoration method or any others. However, quantity influences the price mostly. We can make a quotation on the basis of that we know all of those mentioned. For this reason, Ace Pen provides a detailed calculation of all the costs on quoting. We have specialists in making quotation, and they have 15 years of experience in metal pen manufacturing.

Q6. What Is Your Product Guarantee?

Guaranteed Satisfaction: Your product and imprint will be exactly as you approved them, or we will reprint your order, refund your money or credit your account upon return of the goods.

Q7. What kind of payment conditions do you accept?
|
Usually we accept standard payment conditions - that is T/T: 40% of deposit with P.O, 30% after received the first qualified samples for approval and 30% final term Upon Approval before Shipping. The conditions may be adjusted, especially the bigger contracts. The preferable forms of payment are wire transferred. Anyway, all terms can be negotiated based on the reality.

Q8. What is the difference between a ball point pen and a roller?
|
The mechanic is the same, what principally changes is the ink: more viscous for the ball point, more liquid for the roller.

Q9. How to delivery samples?
|
We send sample by ship, air, or any couriers, such as: DHL, UPS, TNT, FedEx, EMS, SF, OCS. It takes 2-4 days to reach Europe and USA.

Q10. Are Samples Costs Refundable?
|
Yes, the cost of the sample is free but you need to pay in advance and returned to you when you place the order.
The freight is non-refundable. |
Q11. How Many Samples Can I get and are they all Free?
|
We will send you up to 2 pens per item for free that have a value under $3 each for no charge for the product.
If you need to see more than 2 products, please call or email us to get the cost of the samples. If you need express shipping, again please email to get the cost. Any product that is over $3 in value will be charged the first column price plus shipping cost. |
Q12. Want else should I know about ordering samples?

Items that have a minimum order of 1 are not available as samples.
Samples are engraved or imprinted items from overruns, they are not blank. We do not typically custom imprint nor engrave samples. However after you order, we can do a virtual proof for you by request. We do not send out multiple samples of the same item to prevent abuse of our sample policy. |
Q13. Why do you charge for sample shipping?
|
The internet has many people looking for free items without the intent of a full purchase. This abuse would make our products cost more to our good customers. Furthermore, many products are much too expensive to be able to offer as a free sample. Lastly, the cost of shipping has risen dramatically.

Q14. How is freight billed?
|
Freight is always the customer's choice and responsibility. Samples fee is free for you; it is paid in advance and returned to you when you place the order. Please offer your express account for us to send you the samples. Such as UPS, FEDEX, DHL, and TNT. That you're able to collect samples as soon as possible free charge for some samples.

Q15. I do not have a drawing of my product only its general idea how it will look like. Can you help make the pen?

Yes, we have specialists who are very professional in artwork. They can design products according to your ideas. We will do more than give you a finished item to meet your special requirements.

Q16. Do you sign Non-Disclosure Agreement?
|
Yes. We understand the sensitive nature of your design and products. It is our policy to comply with requests for non-disclosure agreements. If we don't get your approval, we would not disclose any information concerning your product or company to the third party and any copy would be prohibited.

Q17. Is it possible without a visit in your company to know whether my products are being built on schedule?
|
On clients’ requests we are giving a detailed process schedule with pictures timely. The reports may have digital pictures that show the progress of work. Also, we warmly welcome our customers visit our company at any time.

Q18. When will I receive my order?
|
We try to keep a good supply of our stock items and ship them out within 48 hours as long as payment and art approval have been received. For personalized items involving artwork after your approval of the artwork the average time is 3 weeks production and 1 week shipping. Some items can take as little as 1-week production or as much as 6 weeks. Let us know your required date and we’ll help you choose an item which

Q19. What if the product is Broken or Faulty?

Just give our customer service rep a call and they will arrange for the replacement or suitable compensation for the product.

Q20. How Do I ensure that My Imprint Information will be Correct?

We will fax and email a proof of your artwork for your approval before putting your order into production.

Q21. What is the difference between engraving and imprinting? And between pad printing and screen printing?
|
Engraving is a method of marking a promotional product by a computer laser beam. This laser beam will typically remove ("burn off") the outer coating on a product, such as a pen, and hence expose the under color of a product. For example: A pen may have a blue barrel. A laser will remove the blue coating where your logo is marked, and expose a gold or silver tube underneath. No ink is used in the process. This is the longest lasting marking type.
Imprinting is a method of applying your marking (ie your logo) to a product in color using ink. Screen and pad printing are the most common types. This allows the customer to choose the color they want on a product. Imprinting by Pad printing: is a method of imprinting in which a recessed surface is covered with ink. When the plate is wiped clean, ink remains in the recessed area. A silicone pad then presses against the plate, pulls the ink out of the recesses and is pressed directly against the product. Imprinting by Screen Printing: is a method in which the image is transferred to the printed surface by ink squeegeed through a stenciled screen stretched over a frame. Screens are treated with a light-sensitive emulsion, then film positives are put in contact with the screens and exposed to light. The light hardens the emulsion not covered by the film, leaving a soft area on the screen for the squeegee to force ink through. Also called silk screening. |
